Q: How can I let you know of children who need books?
A: Just let us know!
You can contact us through email, phone or fax and we will make sure that any child who needs/wants a book, receives one.
Q: How can I donate books?
A: Just let us know!
You can drop them off at our permanent collection container at 2nd Look Books located in the Lincoln Heights Shopping Center at 2928 E. 29th Ave. or you can contact us through email, phone or fax and we will make arrangements to pick them up.
Q: Are my donations tax-deductible?
A: As a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization, any donations to
Books Forever Yours may be tax deductible. Please contact your tax advisor to be
certain.
Our primary donation is books but other donations are always welcome.
If donations are given directly to a Books Forever Yours employee or
volunteer, a handwritten receipt for your items will be given
immediately, followed by a formal receipt in the mail. If donations
are made at our drop off sites (see Events link), and a name, address
and number of items is taped to the donation, a formal receipt will be
sent to your mailing address.
Books
- New books are valued at the cover price.
- Used books are valued at a flat rate of $2.00 per book.
Cash Donations
- Cash is valued in the amount given.
Other non-cash donations (bookcases, sign, office supplies, etc.)
- A fair market value will be determined.

Q: What types of books should I donate?
A: We are looking for books that children aged 0-17 would enjoy
reading or can use to further their education.
