Books Forever Yours Providing age appropriate books to the children of the Spokane Region, at no cost, so that the love of reading can be nourished. Given away over 50,000 books since August 27, 2002! Breaking News... We were honored to be chosed by People To People to be their community service project during December. We were pleased to receive 273 books as well as $375.00 to purchase new books. Thank you so much People To People. We did it! Over 50,000 books as of 10/19/2007 in just 5 1/2 years. Thank you for all your support, your donations and your help. We couldn't have done it without you. Thanks to the Hagan Foundation and First Book, we received 9,300 brand new books. We will be organizing them this summer to be ready to distribute in the fall. Stay tuned! New Programs We are offering Two New Programs to District 81 Elementary Schools. One is to help setup a book exchange program so that students can give each other books they have already read or outgrown. The other program is to take groups of students to read to preschoolers.
